API for music lovers

The goal of this project is to get an email notification when there is a new post by a User one follows in Soundcloud

Process with Zapier

1. First go on Zapier and sign in

2. Go to "My aps" on the left

3. Click on "Connect a new account", tap "Soundcloud" and connect your account to Zapier

4. Do the same for your email app : tap the name of your email app for example "Gmail" and connect your account to Zapier

5. Then click on the "+" on the top left of the page and click on "Make a Zap"

6. Select "Soundcloud" in "App" for the first trigger and "New post by user I follow" in "Trigger event" and click on continue

7. Select your Souncloud account and click on "Test trigger" in order to find your data. Then when your data appears click on "Continue"

8. Now you have to choose an action : Select your email app and in "Action event" select "Send Email". Click on continue.

9. Select your gmail account and click on "continue"

10. Now you can customize you email by completing settings such as "Cc" - "Content" - "Attachments" ... Once you completed all setting click on "Continue"

11. Well done, you can now test your zap and set you zap live by clicking on the "off" button in the top right af the page.

12. Now each time a user you follow makes a new post, you'll get notified email

This project is designed for music diggers

The aim of this project is that music diggers can discover new songs very quickly. The word "digging" is used by DJ's, Music Porducer or Music lovers to describe the action of searching and finding music "bangers" (incredible musics) that are not known by the general public. Then once they find an unknown music banger they can drop it during a DJ mix and it can improve their notoriety and reputation.

What is Soundcloud ?

Soundcloud is a music plateform where artist, producer or DJ,s can upload their creations. For example, the Radioactiv association (EM music association) of which I'm member created a new project during the first confinment : "Radiokaptivité". The goal of this project is to publish a new music set done by members of this association or independant artist every week.
